Mathematics Teacher Dubai

Mathematics Teacher required for a British International School in Dubai to teach Key Stage 3, IGCSE & A Level mathematics.

Role commences 18^th August, a week before the start of term. The first week is an ideal time to familiarise yourself with your apartment and local area, settle into your classroom and meet the rest of the team. Usually the first week has a number of social events with dinners/drinks to meet the team and allows you to sort all your admin out before term begins. Also you can get all the tourist things out the way, go the top of the Burj Khalifa, Atlantis Waterpark + Aura Skypool, brunches etc. 

Person Requirements

• PGCE + Mathematics related Degree
• Two years Teaching Experience since qualifying
• Excellent references

The school follows the UK National Curriculum which has been adapted for local UAE culture. The position is to teach mathematics at Key Stage 3, IGCSE & A Level, Key Stage 5. 

The majority of teaching staff are UK trained and familiar with the UK system.

Ideally you will hold a mathematics related degree + PGCE or B.Ed

Two years A Level Maths teaching experience post qualification is desirable.
