Secondary English Teacher

A British curriculum school in Dubai is seeking a Secondary English Teacher for an immediate start, offering a monthly salary package of AED 14,000–18,000 inclusive of benefits.

The school follows the National Curriculum for England and teaches English at Key Stage 3. The position would suit a subject specialist with strong knowledge of English language and literature who can develop pupils' reading, writing and analytical skills.

The Position

The successful candidate will teach English across the school's secondary year groups, planning lessons that develop literacy, comprehension, creative writing and literary analysis.

You will be expected to maintain high academic standards, assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of students from different linguistic and educational backgrounds.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature.
• Strong spoken and written English, with UK-trained applicants particularly encouraged.
• Experience teaching secondary English, preferably within the British curriculum.
• Confident classroom management, lesson planning and assessment skills.
• Availability to join immediately.
• A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE with QTS or equivalent, would be advantageous.

Salary Package

AED 14,000–18,000 per month, inclusive of all benefits.
