Global Politics Teacher – Dubai, UAE – Immediate Start

An established international school in Dubai is seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Global Politics Teacher for an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified secondary teacher with a strong interest in politics, international relations and contemporary global issues to join a highly international IB school.

The Role

The successful candidate will join the school's secondary teaching team, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the political forces, institutions and ideas shaping today's world.

The school places particular emphasis on critical thinking, inquiry and international-mindedness. Students are encouraged to explore different perspectives, question assumptions and develop well-supported arguments about complex local and global issues.

The role would suit a teacher who can bring politics to life in the classroom, connecting academic study with current affairs and encouraging thoughtful debate, independent research and informed discussion.

Who Are We Looking For?

Applicants should have:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent
• A relevant bachelor's degree
• Experience teaching Politics, Global Politics, Government & Politics, Humanities or a closely related subject
• Strong knowledge of contemporary political and global issues
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• The ability to encourage debate, analysis and independent thinking
• Availability to relocate to Dubai and begin work at short notice

Previous experience teaching IB Global Politics or the IB Diploma Programme would be particularly advantageous. Applications are also welcomed from strong Politics teachers with experience of A-Level or another recognised international curriculum.
