PE Teacher – Dubai, UAE – January 2027

A leading British international school in Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PE Teacher to join its Physical Education department from January 2027.

More Than Curriculum PE

Physical Education is an important part of school life, with students encouraged to participate in sport both within lessons and through a broad programme of extracurricular activities and competitive teams.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging PE lessons across the school, supporting students with a wide range of sporting abilities. You should be confident teaching practical PE while helping students develop fitness, technical skills, teamwork, resilience and an understanding of healthy lifestyles.

The school also provides academic pathways in PE and Sport at secondary and post-16 level, including GCSE PE and A-Level PE, alongside other sport-related qualifications.

The ability to contribute to examination PE would therefore be particularly valuable.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent
• A relevant Physical Education, Sports Science or related degree
• Successful experience teaching PE
• Strong practical knowledge across a range of sports
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to motivate students of different abilities
• A willingness to contribute to teams, fixtures, competitions and extracurricular sport
• Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level PE would be advantageous, although it is not essential for a strong PE practitioner.

January 2027 Start

The school follows the National Curriculum for England and provides an established pathway through GCSE and into a wide range of post-16 qualifications.
