Land science teacher (BTEC) (farm studies)

Job Description
We are hiring an outstanding Land science teacher (Farm Studies teacher) to join our team for the new academic year from August 2024. The successful candidate will be required to confidently deliver this BTEC course and must have previous experience teaching BTEC Farming/Land science

We are looking to speak to a Land Science teacher who can  integrate knowledge from various disciplines to provide comprehensive education on land-related topics, emphasizing the importance of sustainable land management and environmental stewardship.

Successful candidates will need to:

• A B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or other equivalent that allow you to teach.
• Agricultural/Horticultural background
• Proven qualified experience of teaching BTEC Land Science/Farm studies
• The ability to share your outstanding practice.
• Interested in career growth, leadership, sustainability.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
