About the role

This is an exciting and important position of leadership of both the Primary and Early Years’ sections, within a highly regarded and successful bilingual school. The role will include access to wide educational leadership of curriculum and staff development, as well as involvement in Marketing, Admissions, recruitment of staff and budget management, health and safety protocols, liaison with parents and with third parties.

You will be a collaborative colleague who can challenge native and non-native English-speaking staff and students alike to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies, activities and procedures to enhance the experience and outcomes for all members of the Primary Team.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you should have strong leadership credentials and international experience to take the Primary section of the school to new heights. Committed and creative, you should be reflective of your own leadership practice and approach, bringing out the best in yourself and others to raise achievement, engagement and an affinity for a British-style education in Vietnam.

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will be able to communicate orally and in written form with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your experience to build strong relationships with parents, staff and students.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 7 Nov 2020. The initial interview process will be conducted remotely and as current COVID-19 circumstances dictate may allow us to invite shortlisted candidates to visit the school to meet with staff, student and parent representatives. although we reserve the right to pursue good applications as soon as we are ready

Start Date: We offer a professional working environment and an attractive remuneration and benefits package. Initial contracts are for three years and we are looking for someone to start at the beginning of August, 2021
