DCSL seeks an outstanding YEAR ONE CLASS TEACHER to join a dedicated and innovative teaching team.

Year One at DCSL is in a beautiful open plan setting with direct outdoor access and dedicated shared areas. The spaces are purpose-built and recently renovated to the highest standard and all areas are very well resourced. A student kitchen, creative areas, gardens, library and multipurpose room are all next to Year 1, providing outstanding opportunities for our 5-6 year-olds. Our 3-form entry Primary School (part of the 650 student DCSL) is very popular with Seoul's English-speaking community. Our students achieve highly in all areas and our graduates leave us for some of the World's top universities.
Seoul is a modern, highly liveable city which offers something for everyone. Green spaces are common and there is easy access to the Han River, and to the nearby countryside for winter skiiing or year-round hiking and biking. Staff apartments are in pleasant residential areas within 15 minutes of the College with good restaurants, public transport and other familiar services on the doorstep.
An excellent package including salary, annual flights, quality housing, international medical insurance and relocation allowance is offered to the right candidate.
At least 2 years teaching experience is required in the U.K. or overseas (preferably teaching the English National Curriculum), regardless of nationality. All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE, or equivalent).
In return, successful candidates will be working in a dynamic, purpose-built setting with small class sizes and highly motivated students. Our Primary School is very well resourced and our facilities are outstanding, comprising cookery rooms, specialist art and STEM areas, ropes course, indoor pool, outdoor learning areas and gardens.
