We seek a general design / technology / film teacher to take the lead (with art and computer science teaching colleagues) in a new design / technology centre where we will combine art, design, film and technology. There is no intention to prepare students for external examinations, instead we seek for all students in the age range 10 - 18 years old to be engaged in projects that could be defined within a design cycle model, be that in film, product design (created through 3-D printing), computer science and art. The role will suit a teacher used to working within a project-based curriculum and interested in designing an original and context-appropriate design-thinking curriculum for our school.
