Secondary English Teacher (Immediate Start) Saudi Arabia

We’re partnering with a well-established, high-performing British international school in Saudi Arabia to appoint a dynamic Secondary English Teacher for an immediate start. Join a supportive, well-resourced department that values high standards, collaboration, and student wellbeing.

 

Secondary English Teaching Role

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3–KS4 (with potential for KS5).
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the UK curriculum (IGCSE and A Level experience highly desirable).
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations; use data to inform intervention and stretch.
  • Differentiate effectively for a range of learners, including EAL students.
  • Contribute to literacy initiatives and the wider life of the school (e.g., reading programmes, debate/public speaking, journalism/creative writing clubs, Model UN).
  • Collaborate within a cohesive English team and across departments to drive whole-school literacy.

 

Secondary English Teacher Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in English (or closely related field) plus a recognised teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
  • Proven success teaching the British curriculum at secondary level (IGCSE/A Level); familiarity with CAIE/Edexcel/AQA welcomed.
  • Strong subject knowledge, assessment practice, and behaviour management.
  • Clear, confident communicator with a growth mindset and a passion for reading and writing.
  • Available to start immediately (visa processing support provided). Experienced teachers and strong early-career teachers are encouraged to apply.
