ABOUT THE POSITION:

Teach individual and small group classes (up to 4 students) to children, youth, and adult learners of all levels

Working schedule from Tuesday through Saturday (Sunday and Monday are free days)

Approximately 20 hours of instruction per week with additional hours for planning and staff meetings

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Base salary paid monthly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

CELTA or TESOL certificate (or other accredited 120-hour TEFL certificate with live teaching practice)

Bachelor’s degree in any field

Native level English speaker

Able to commit to an 8-month contract

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

Work closely with a small team of colleagues

Teach all levels and age groups, as assigned

Create a safe and dynamic learning environment for students

Plan engaging lessons and continually assess students’ progress

Ask questions and actively seek help when needed

Be observed, receive and implement advice for improvement, learn new skills

Adapt to challenges with an open mind and positive attitude

An ideal candidate will also possess:

At least a basic level of Spanish

1 year + English teaching experience

A passion for helping students achieve their goals

A genuine interest in cultural exchange and being a part of a community
