An established British international school in New Giza, Cairo is recruiting an experienced Maths Teacher for an August 2027 start.

Face-to-face interviews will take place in London on 11–12 November 2026. Applications are being reviewed now.

The Teaching Opportunity

The school offers a British-style education with a strong emphasis on academic achievement, independent thinking and individual student development.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across the secondary age range, helping students develop confidence in algebra, geometry, statistics, mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.

Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics is particularly important, while the ability to teach A-Level Mathematics would be advantageous.

The school is looking for someone who can make challenging mathematical concepts accessible, maintain high expectations and use assessment effectively to support students with different levels of ability.

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant Mathematics degree and recognised teaching qualification, ideally PGCE with QTS or B.Ed
• Strong secondary Mathematics teaching experience
• Experience preparing students for GCSE/IGCSE examinations
• Excellent mathematical subject knowledge
• Effective differentiation, assessment and classroom management
• A willingness to contribute to the wider school community

Salary & Benefits

• Annual Teacher Pay Range (TPR): £31,500–£45,352
