A leading international school in Cairo, Egypt is seeking an experienced and committed Head of Inclusion for an ASAP start.
This is an important senior position for an experienced inclusion leader who is passionate about ensuring that every student receives the support, challenge and opportunities they need to succeed.
The Role
The Head of Inclusion will lead the school's approach to SEND, additional learning needs and inclusive education, working closely with teachers, school leaders, students and families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality inclusive practice across the school, ensuring that individual needs are identified effectively and that appropriate strategies are put in place to support both academic progress and student wellbeing.
A key part of the role will be working alongside classroom teachers to ensure that inclusion is embedded within everyday teaching rather than treated as a separate provision.

The Person
We are looking for an experienced educator with a strong understanding of SEND and inclusive education and the ability to lead provision across an international school.
Applicants should have a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent, together with a relevant degree.
Previous experience as a Head of Inclusion, SENCO, SENDCo, Head of Learning Support or similar would be highly desirable. Candidates should be confident supporting teachers, managing individual student needs and building effective relationships with families.
A recognised SEND/SENCO qualification or further specialist training would be advantageous.
The school takes a holistic approach to education, seeking to develop students academically while also supporting their individual, physical and emotional wellbeing. The Head of Inclusion will therefore play an important role in ensuring that this approach translates into effective support for individual learners.
