TEFL Teaching Jobs Available for the Summer in Spain

Europe, Spain

Step

STEP (Student travel & Exchange Programmes) is a company located in Bilbao, northern Spain. For the last 27 years we have been organising English summer camps in Spain, and this year we are doing it too, so we are looking for Native level English speakers to work with us in the summer camps 2019 (In June, July or August) as Teachers or/and Activity Leaders. We would appreciate if we could publish a job offer at your University for your students. I add a short description of our camps and the job. You might not be the person in charge of publishing job offers; in that case, could you please give me the contact of that person so I can contact him/her. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
All our camps take place in northern Spain during summer and are carried out in English. Camps are located in Tarazon (Zaragoza). They run in turns of 1 , 2 or 3 weeks from June to August. All the positions are full time and paid, salaries are according to the Spanish Government teaching collective agreement. Teachers work with the students in the mornings and Activity Leaders in the afternoon, although all staff will take part in the evening and weekend activities (excursions, games, etc) as well as other duties (night duty, telephone duties, etc). There will be an average of 15 kids per class; students are 8-14 years old.

Camps take place in religious boarding schools and even thought our camps are not religious some rules must be followed to show respect to the rest of the staff and the premises we make use of. Full board accommodation is provided at no cost in shared rooms with another member of the staff of the same sex. If the candidate is coming from abroad he/she will ha to pay for the flight, but STEP will help paying the costs. Teaching material is provided, as well as all material for sports and arts and crafts. Private insurance policy for accident is included; however you will need to bring you European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with you.”
