Online ESL Teachers Required

Study Bali International (SBI) is a Bali based school that works in partnership with a wide range of China based education providers to deliver quality online teaching services.   

We are currently seeking online ESL teachers who have experience teaching young learners and can commit to regular online teaching schedules from Wednesday to Sunday each week. This is currently a home-based teaching position, however we are also looking for teachers for future study camps in Bali, so starting online teaching with us could be your perfect pathway to Bali.

Candidates with online teaching experience, particularly those who are fluent in the use of the Classin platform, will be at an advantage in applying for this role. Teachers who are new to online teaching may also apply, but they should be ‘IT savvy’ and able to independently solve computer and connectivity issues. For new online teachers, SBI provides basic entry level training that focuses on online teaching techniques as well as platform navigation and tools usage.

SBI online teachers become part of an international online staffroom with the benefits of ongoing coaching and support and the opportunity to teach a range of different online course types (1 to 1, 1 to 4/6 and in-school groups of up to 16 students per class).  Our scheduling team will coordinate your weekly schedule and aim to assign you with 12 to 18 regular teaching hours each week.

Requirements:

English speaker (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland) .
TEFL certification.
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience teaching young learners .
Located in South East Asia region preferable (due to class times) or have a desire to relocate to Bali in the future.
Available 4pm to 9pm Wednesday to Friday and 10am to 12pm Saturday and Sunday (Bali Time).
Available from the first week of September.
