We are looking for a native English Teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be excited to join our school at Ethiopia. Our company is operating in Addis Ababa and Mekelle, Ethiopia with 6 branches serving around 2000 (two thousand) students from 56 different nations.
We are looking for the position of English Teacher (for Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary and Advanced classes). Your effective start date is subject of mutual agreement between the parties.
Successful applicants will have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject and a certified teaching qualification such as BEd/PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent)
• Experience of teaching English
• The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
About your benefits
Monthly basic salary: $ 3 000 (three thousand USD)
Monthly transport allowance: $ 150 (one hundred and fifty USD)
Monthly house allowance: $ 350 (three hundred and fifty USD)
All payments will be made in the local currency All the relevant taxes of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for an employee are paid by the Employer (School). However, teacher is responsible for his/her home country tax liabilities.
Approximately 35% of your salary will be paid as monthly tax for you. Visa, Work Permit & Registration Expenses Visa, Work Permit and Registration expenses are all covered by the company.
- Housing payment is not covered by school however there is housing allowance including in your gross salary.
- School covers an economy class flight from Addis Ababa to your own country upon the completion of the academic year.
Contract Term: The Employment Contract is for one academic year. Employees are required to provide the written notice to the school management regarding their intention to extend their contract for another education year no later than January 31st of each year.
PDP - Professional Development Programs School pays for online relevant Cambridge teacher training programs, which is approved by the school administration.
