Maths Teacher – Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia – Immediate Start

An established British international school in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mathematics specialist with experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE and A Level who would like to join a well-established British curriculum school with a strong academic focus.

Teaching Maths

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across the secondary age range, including students preparing for external examinations at GCSE/IGCSE and A Level.

The school follows the English National Curriculum, with Mathematics forming a core part of the secondary curriculum before students progress into Sixth Form study.

The successful teacher should be able to make challenging mathematical concepts accessible while developing students' confidence in problem-solving, reasoning and independent thinking.

At examination level, you will be expected to provide structured preparation and use assessment effectively to identify areas where individual students need additional support or challenge.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should hold a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent, alongside a relevant degree.

You should ideally have:

• Strong secondary Mathematics teaching experience
• Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE Maths
• Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Strong examination preparation and assessment skills
• The ability to differentiate effectively for different levels of mathematical ability
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Previous experience of the English National Curriculum would be particularly valuable. Applications are welcomed from experienced UK teachers as well as teachers already working internationally.
