PE Teacher – Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – Immediate Start

An established American curriculum international school in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a PE Teacher to join its team for an immediate start.

This position would suit an energetic and enthusiastic Physical Education specialist who can encourage students to develop their fitness, sporting ability, teamwork and confidence.

The Role

The successful teacher will deliver Physical Education across the school, providing engaging lessons that cater for different levels of ability and experience.

The school is looking for someone who can create a positive sporting environment where students are encouraged to participate, improve their individual performance and understand the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Alongside curriculum PE, the ability to contribute to school sport, teams, competitions and extracurricular activities would be particularly valuable.

Applicants should have:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent
• A relevant PE, Sports Science or related degree
• Previous experience teaching Physical Education
• Strong practical sports knowledge
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to motivate students with different sporting abilities
• A willingness to contribute to extracurricular sport and wider school life

Experience within an American or international curriculum school would be advantageous but is not essential.

Immediate Start

The school is looking to appoint as soon as possible, so teachers who are already in the UAE or able to relocate at short notice are particularly encouraged to apply.
