A growing British international school in Doha, Qatar is looking to appoint an experienced Physics Teacher for a January 2027 start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physics specialist with experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE and A Level who would like to join a developing secondary and Sixth Form provision.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach Physics across the secondary age range, including students preparing for external examinations at GCSE/IGCSE and A Level.
The school is looking for a teacher who can make challenging Physics concepts accessible and engaging while maintaining strong academic expectations.
Lessons should combine secure theoretical understanding with practical investigation, problem-solving and mathematical application. Students are encouraged to analyse experimental data, evaluate evidence and develop the independent scientific thinking required for further study.
As the school's senior provision continues to develop, the successful teacher will also have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of post-16 Physics.
What We're Looking For
Applicants should have a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent, alongside a relevant Physics or Science degree.
You should ideally have:
Previous experience within a British international school would be advantageous, although experienced UK-based Physics teachers looking to move overseas are also encouraged to apply.
