Infant Teachers – Nursery & Reception – Doha, Qatar – Immediate Start

An established international school in Doha, Qatar is seeking a caring and enthusiastic female Infant Teacher to teach within Nursery and Reception for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years teacher who understands the importance of creating a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which young children can develop confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Teaching Nursery & Reception

The successful candidate will work within the school's Early Years provision, delivering learning based around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The curriculum is designed to build strong foundations across communication and language, early literacy and mathematics, physical development, understanding the world, and personal, social and emotional development.

Rather than focusing solely on formal classroom instruction, teachers are expected to provide engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences that allow children to explore, communicate, create and develop their independence.

Early phonics and language development also form an important part of the school day, helping prepare children for a successful transition into the next stage of their education.

About You

The school is looking for a teacher who understands how children learn and develop during these crucial early years.

Applicants should ideally have:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent
• A relevant degree
• Experience teaching Nursery, Reception or EYFS
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of early phonics, literacy and numeracy development
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A warm, creative and child-centred approach to teaching
• Availability to relocate to Qatar at short notice

Experience within a British curriculum school would be particularly valuable, although previous international teaching experience is not essential.

This vacancy is for a female teacher, in accordance with the staffing requirements of the school.
