Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an experienced primary practitioner who combines strong educational leadership with a genuine understanding of how children learn.

Applicants should have a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS, B.Ed or equivalent, a relevant degree and substantial primary teaching experience.

You should also have proven leadership experience as a Head of Primary, Deputy Head, Assistant Head, Primary Principal or comparable senior leader.

Experience within an IB PYP school would be particularly valuable. However, strong primary leaders from British or other recognised international curricula who can demonstrate an understanding of inquiry-led learning are also encouraged to apply.

The School

The school provides an international education in English and has developed a learning philosophy that encourages students to ask questions, explore ideas, think critically and take increasing ownership of their learning.

Within the primary phase, learning extends beyond individual subjects through a transdisciplinary approach, helping children make connections between different areas of knowledge and the wider world.

The incoming Head of Primary will have the opportunity to build on this approach while continuing to develop academic standards, teaching quality and a strong culture of collaboration across the primary school.
