Geography Teacher

A British International School in Qatar seek a secondary Teacher of Geography to commence August 2024.

This is a UK curriculum school with exceptional leadership that supports staff both in and out the classroom.

The school follows the UK National Curriculum and employs UK trained teaching & leadership staff throughout. 

The Position

• Teaching Geography at KS3, GCSE and the option of A Level
• Ideally posses the ability to teach Global Perspectives additionally

Accommodation is provided in school owned apartments five minute walk to the school. The accommodation is provided on an individual basis, fully furnished and with all utility bills including internet covered by the school. As the school owns the accommodation they maintain it to a very high standard with full air conditioning throughout and a maintenance team on call 24 hours a day for any possible eventualities. 

Staff also benefit from use of a gym and outdoor swimming pool which is free of charge and available to use throughout the year.

Person Specification

• UK Trained
• PGCE + degree or B.Ed
• ECT Teachers welcome to apply

The school is able to support ECT induction for newly qualified teachers but also welcomes applications from experienced classroom practitioners.
