A British International School in Qatar seek Early Years & Primary Teaching Staff for the new academic year. Based in purpose built primary buildings the school offers 3 departments for Early Years, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2. Each department has its own facilities and individual play areas with KS1 & KS2 also benefiting from excellent computer facilities. Class sizes are small with no more than 22 children in a class and all classes have a full time teaching assistant.

The National Curriculum for England and Wales is followed throughout the school and essentially students have a learning experience that is almost identical to a school based in the UK. The senior leadership team are all UK trained experienced leaders Currently the school has positions for; • Early Years (Reception) • Year 1 • Year 2 • Year 4 • Year 5 All staff receive their own individual apartments that are within close proximity to the school. Accommodation is spacious, modern and free of charge and utility bills. Staff also receive free access to a modern sports facility that is located next to the accommodation. This includes a modern gym with an abundance of cardio equipment and large free weights section. Additionally there is an outdoor pool with sun loungers. Qatar offers a Middle Eastern experience with a Western twist. There are bars/clubs available and a large International community to socialise with. This allows a Western lifestyle to be led whilst also offering areas like the Souq Waqif which is a traditional market with many restaurants/cafes to enjoy for a more cultural experience. Additionally Qatar now offers one of the largest airports in the region and is extremely well connected to all areas of the globe. There are regular flights to Dubai & Abu Dhabi which are short (less than an hour) and also very cheap. This makes weekends away to other cities possible and the chance to explore this fascinating region while earning a Tax Free salary.
