The Role

The successful candidate will join a dedicated Student Support Services team and work closely with middle school students requiring modified curriculum provision and additional learning support.

The role will involve developing personalised learning programmes, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), monitoring progress, and working collaboratively with teachers to ensure students can successfully access learning across the curriculum.

You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, independence, and the skills required to achieve their individual goals both academically and socially.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering modified curriculum programmes for students with identified learning needs
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting students with mild to moderate learning differences within a mainstream school environment
  • Working collaboratively with classroom teachers to adapt learning experiences and assessment tasks
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Liaising with parents, counsellors, specialists, and school leadership to support student success
  • Promoting inclusive teaching practices across the school community
  • Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development
     

Requirements
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Inclusion, Psychology, or a related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Additional qualification in SEND, Learning Support, Inclusion, or Special Education highly desirable
  • Minimum of two years' relevant teaching or learning support experience
  • Experience creating and implementing IEPs and modified curriculum pathways
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated instruction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Previous international school experience would be advantageous
