About the Role

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students’ skills in reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication. You will teach across Key Stages 3–5, with opportunities to contribute to IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) English.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3–5
• Teach IGCSE and IB English Language and/or Literature
• Plan and implement engaging schemes of work
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debating, writing clubs, and literacy initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum
• Support whole-school initiatives and academic development
   

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level
• Experience with IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching in an international environment
