Teaching Abroad Direct is looking to work with an experienced international education professional to support the continued growth of our school recruitment and recruitment marketing services across the Middle East.

Established in 2012, Teaching Abroad Direct works with international schools across the region, connecting schools with qualified teachers from the UK and internationally.

We are looking for someone with an established network within the Middle East international school sector who can introduce our services to schools and develop new relationships across markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt.

The opportunity

This is a flexible, consultancy-based business development role rather than a traditional recruitment position.

You will work alongside the Directors of Teaching Abroad Direct to identify and engage international schools that could benefit from our recruitment marketing services, including our Whole School Recruitment Campaigns.

Your focus will be on opening conversations, making introductions and developing relationships with school decision-makers. Our UK team will provide marketing materials, campaign information and support with presentations, proposals and closing opportunities.

Who we're looking for

We would particularly like to hear from people who have previously worked as a:

• Head of HR / HR Director within an international school or school group
• Principal, Headteacher or senior school leader
• Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Director
• International education consultant
• Senior business development professional within the education sector

You must currently be based in the Middle East and have a strong existing network within the international school sector.

Previous experience working with British international schools would be particularly useful, as would established relationships with HR Directors, Heads, Principals, school owners or education groups.

Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Remuneration

This is a commission-based consultancy opportunity, offering significant earning potential for successful school introductions and campaign sales.

The role is flexible and can be structured around other professional commitments, subject to there being no conflict of interest.
