Teaching Abroad Direct is recruiting on behalf of a leading international school in Dubai for two talented Maths Teachers, including one Second in Charge (2iC) position. These are excellent opportunities for skilled Mathematics educators to join a high-performing department within a well-established international school.

About the Roles

We are seeking two passionate Maths teachers to deliver high-quality teaching across secondary level, with one candidate taking on additional responsibility as 2iC (Second in Charge) of Maths. The successful candidates will teach across Key Stages 3–5, including IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Mathematics.

The 2iC role will involve supporting the Head of Department in curriculum development, staff mentoring, and driving academic outcomes across the Maths faculty.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3–5
• Teach IGCSE and IB Mathematics
• Plan, assess, and monitor student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Support extracurricular activities such as Maths clubs or competitions
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practice

Additional Responsibilities for 2iC Role:

• Support the Head of Maths in leading the department
• Assist with curriculum planning and quality assurance
• Mentor and support teaching staff
• Help drive student attainment and departmental performance
   

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Experience with IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme preferred
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
• Leadership experience or ambition (for 2iC role)
• Commitment to high standards and student success
