The successful candidate will teach French across Early Years and Primary age groups, creating engaging lessons that foster a genuine enthusiasm for language learning while supporting children's communication and cultural awareness.

The Role

This position involves teaching French to children aged approximately 3–11 years within a vibrant international learning environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate language lessons that help learners build strong foundations in French through practical communication, immersion and interactive activities.

Areas of focus include:

• Spoken French and conversational skills
• Vocabulary acquisition
• Pronunciation and listening comprehension
• Early reading and writing in French
• Language learning through stories, songs and games
• Cultural awareness and international-mindedness
• Building confidence in communication

The successful candidate will create lessons that are engaging, creative and developmentally appropriate, encouraging children to view language learning as both enjoyable and meaningful.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring French teacher who can make language learning accessible and engaging for young learners.

Applicants should possess:

• Fluency in both French and English
• A recognised teaching qualification
• A degree in French, Languages, Education or a related field
• At least 5 years' experience teaching French to Early Years and/or Primary students
• Experience teaching French through interactive and immersive methodologies
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for language learning and international education
• The ability to adapt lessons to different ages and ability levels
