About the Role

As an Economics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across secondary level, with a focus on Economics, alongside the ability to teach Business Studies where required. You will teach across Key Stages 4–5, including IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP).

This role is ideal for an engaging educator who can bring real-world economic concepts to life and inspire students to understand global markets, finance, and business environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4–5
• Teach IGCSE and IB Economics, with the ability to teach Business Studies
• Plan and deliver effective schemes of work
• Assess and monitor student progress to ensure high achievement
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as enterprise clubs or economics societies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
• Support whole-school academic initiatives
   

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Degree in Economics, Business, or a related subject
• Proven experience teaching Economics at secondary level
• Ability to teach Business Studies
• Experience with IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for international education
