Teaching Abroad Direct is recruiting on behalf of a leading international school in Dubai for an innovative and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Teacher, with the ability to teach Computer Science being highly desirable. About the Role

As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons across secondary level, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. The ability to contribute to Computer Science teaching will be a strong advantage, supporting a modern and integrated STEM curriculum.

You will teach across Key Stages 3–5, with opportunities to deliver IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) subjects in Design Technology and/or Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3–5
• Teach IGCSE and IB DT, with the ability to support Computer Science teaching
• Plan and deliver practical, project-based learning experiences
• Assess and monitor student progress to ensure high achievement
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, coding clubs, or robotics
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum
• Support whole-school innovation and digital learning initiatives
   

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Degree in Design Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching DT at secondary level
• Ability or experience teaching Computer Science preferred
• Experience with IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme desirable
• Strong practical and technical skillset
• Passion for STEM education and innovation
