About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching across the Upper School, following the Chinese National Curriculum while working within an international school setting. You will play a key role in driving student academic progress, engagement, and achievement.

This role combines strong academic teaching with pastoral support, ensuring students receive a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned with the Chinese curriculum
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes through high-quality teaching
• Lead and contribute to assessment, data tracking, and reporting processes
• Support curriculum development and collaborate with the Mathematics department
• Promote a positive and professional classroom environment
• Participate in enrichment activities, competitions, and extra-curricular programmes
• Provide pastoral support through tutoring and regular communication with parents
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and school policies
   

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable teacher with:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or related field
• Valid teaching qualification (Chinese teaching certification preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ Mathematics teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese National Curriculum
• Ability to teach in an English-speaking environment (bilingual skills advantageous)
• Experience using data to support student progress
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
