Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across the Upper School
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
• Support students’ academic progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour
• Participate in pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives
• Engage in extra-curricular activities, enrichment programmes, and school events
• Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues
• Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing school improvement
   

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher with:

• A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching English
• Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery (British curriculum experience advantageous)
• Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level English (preferred)
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
