Senior Leadership Job in Abu Dhabi 

Commencing August a British School in Abu Dhabi require a Head of Secondary for August. 

This is a large all through 3-18 primary & secondary school combined. The school has a student intake of 1000+ students across both age ranges and is looking to be closer to 1500 for August. 

This is a British International School that delivers the National Curriculum for England at an outstanding level. IGCSE & A Level is offered at secondary level with high achieving students performing way above average year on year.

You will need to be able to demonstrate strong relationships with staff, pupils, parents and the local community in Abu Dhabi.

  • Provide leadership across the secondary school 
  • Report directly to the whole school principal
  • Engage with the community to provide strong leadership for pupils, staff and parents. 
  • Monitor and analyse school performance.
  • Evaluate staff teaching & learning standards.
  • Be responsible for secondary recruitment.
  • Provide a cohesive learning environment where students achieve and staff feel valued for their success.

You will need to have:

  • B.Ed or BA Hons & PGCSE
  • NPQH and or MA Education 
  • Relevant leadership experience preferably within the Middle East region. 
  • A financial understanding of how an International school operates.
